have to say there's some nice looking shoes in the last page or so

Those bledsoe colourway etnies are growing on me, and while I know it's likely that there will be a load of bmx/moto x tards wearing them I will prob give them a try providing they're not stupid expensive.

While the HUF's aren't original in any real way\shape\form - these are skate sneakers we're talking about and I've given up hope on that front from most Co's

Man, if those HUF's had a DVS or Fallen logo on them they would be a laughing stock. Why anyone would take those over the shoe they are a direct rip of is beyond me.

I understand your point of view, but 1) DVS has still to make something interesting and durable, 2) Fallen has some good designs, and everyone on Slap recognizes it 3) Some of the original aren't available such as the Reese Rip Off.

However I would still agree with you concerning the buz vulc rip off as well as the Ramondetta-noski that was released previously.

I think HUF is just trying to make people buy some "non corporate" versions of successful corporate models such as adidas or nike sb, which is a rather brillant.

I, as a consumer, would buy a HUF Ramondetta-noski rip off over some Nike Janoski everyday (not sure about the adidas rip off tho).

Yeah, I did think about the RF shoe being discontinued and to be honest it's not the most commonly copied shoe so that's cool.
I feel you, most people are down to support HUF for the reasons you mentioned and I think the sloppy execution is what gets me the most. Who knows, maybe the fast-fashion chain method of getting a really similar shoe out right behind Nike/Adidas at a lower price is working for them.

All attempts to top the janoski, including from nike itself, are half ok at best. I get the vibe that when the objective is to make a new trend to rival a shoe that's done so well, such as the janoski, its as if designers are forcing something that isn't there, like pushing something that doesn't need pushing, thus the constant look alikes and weird experimental bullshittiness. Also did janoski design it himself or what?

It does, but when I saw Haslem's shoe, the "Odin", I thought that was vulc too, but it's cupsole. Louie hasn't made a vulc shoe before, right??

Word, but most of Ipaths first shoes were nike ripoffs. Remember the Grasshopper? I'm not mad at the design at all.

I'm skating the blue colorway right now and they're the best shoe I've ever skated, and they're probably the best looking ones I've ever had too.
