Just got my hands on three pairs of the Gilbert Crockett pro models.. they are very narrow, and fit me almost exactly as the gravis arto do in size 9.� Going to have to break them in for a bit, but did one kickflip on my cruiser and the flick felt super good.� Will report back later.

You think the Crockett's are going to be a bad fit for someone with a fat foot?

Well I will say that most vans fit me fine in size 9, but I have a wider foot. I usually have room at the end of most of my shoes but they won't feel loose or anything. These fit tighter than most, I needed to walk around in them for a while for them to be comfortable but it feels like they're breaking in.

I don't know when any of the shoes are supposed to release, sorry. I don't work for vans or anything I just know a guy and happen to be sample size

I used to be really into BL. The Cardiel, Upson, Pronier days. They had a nice resurgence in the early 00s with Speyer, Svitak, Adams, Hensley, Hendrix, Agah, Hassan, etc. I guess that was the Label Kills era.

All that said, I think John Lucero is a complete kook and I'd never spend one penny on anything Black Label. He likes to play the martyr role, a true skateboard purist. But the truth is he is a sheister businessman. That's fine, but stop pretending. I always get a chuckle out of his views on Rocco because they are just dripping with irony.
