i cant wait until boost finally gets properly implemented in a skate shoe (that i like haha).

i have 2 pairs of adidas boost sneakers and they feel like walking on clouds.

same here, but also I worry about rolling my ankle in some boost shoes. I have the busenitz prime knit and theyre super comfortable but not stable at all. Could be a prime knit issue maybe.

Prime knit is as stable as a sock.

Prime knit is as stable as a sock.

not that big of a fan of prime knit either. and yeah, i get the critique about rolling ankles, thats why i wrote about proper implementation haha

Was just perusing the vans site and came across the ultrarange pro 2
Photos from some angles make them a little less dorky than the first one, I think because the laces go a litter further down the forefoot.

I can't decide if they're cool or if they're my dad like the other ultrarange stuff.

It looks like vans are struggling to keep up with Adidas and DC's more tech models. Are we about to see vans go down the shitter again? The only vans people ever buy are Old Skools, Slip-ons, and the Sk8 hi. They should stick to what they know.

I've seen a fuck ton of the Crockett's, decent amounts of various TNT models for the last few years, good amount of Ultraranges and honestly, I saw a surprisingly large amount of those AVE rapidweld pros out in the wild

yeah, i feel like they're lagging behind numeric too. vans really going all out with new tech stuff like the waffle cup, waffle sole, and ultimate waffle and hoping one sticks in order to get a slice of that cupsole/tech money

i really like those black 004s actually. anyone know the price tag on those?

Hey guys! thanks for the kind words! i didn't designed the 3st.004 (i work on the lifestyle department), but the Samba RM is my first baby designed from the ground that it's in the streets.
I know I may sound a bit biased, but if you want a comfortable chiller with that classic look it's a good shoe IMHO.
Those OG samba colors are the next ones to drop:

Just dont skate them (a lot of people ask me if they are skateable), maybe for a cruise around type of deal they are fine but they are really unconstructed, the heel doesnt have the usual plastic reenforcement and the boost too soft making it an ankle killer.

I've seen samples from the 3st.004 a while back actually... They have a cool outsole construction where they play with the foxing which I'm curious about, but I havent tried them yet. They look pretty cool on Peacock's feet (I'm also pretty sure Tyshawn skates them in the EMB part in blessed)!

Well, about the sizing, I got the same size as my OG sambas, and both run a bit small, but I usually like snug shoes (I blame skating). I also have other sample pair which is half size bigger than my regular size and they fit good aswell, maybe just a tiny bit loose for my taste, because my foot is also quite narrow.
So I guess if you are in between sizes and have a wider foot I would go with the bigger size.

Tell me your thoughts about them once you get it! Love hearing people's feedback!

Not a fan of Adidas, although I can admit some of their shoes have a great silhouette. Then there's the weird blobs. Almost shapeless. This seems like a blob destined for sale racks.
