wait is that a cupsole? I too fuck with those. Attention all shoe brands: use the lace loops on the tongue in your product photography

It looks like they fucked up the lace loop location where you can't tell at which eyelet you're supposed to go through it. The loop is either too high or too low on the tongue, so it's going to awkwardly pull the lace up or down.

^perhaps, but using the higher of the possible eyelets would probably just pull the tongue to its proper place. Hard to tell for sure from the photo

Yes, it's a cupsole. This isn't our product photography. This is a screenshot from a reps IG story from his sales sample. Glad to see some of you are stoked on the Gamma reissue.

I hope there will be a white suede version of the gamma as well. I remember them from back in the day and in my opinion their design is pretty close to the shoe I want reissued the most (but will probably never get): Airwalk J. Lee.

Just do it right away when you get them so that the glue doesn't get smooshed in more by wearing them. I used to do it to regular Half Cabs and they come out pretty easily if you do it when they're new.

The shoe I wish Globe would bring back is the Finale. not as far as longevity, but in simplicity, I put it up there with being Globe's Accel: good looking shoe, great feeling cupsole, simple design, and when it came out, everyone on Globe wore it and it looked sick.  Kurt Winter and McEntire made it sick in Smoke and Mirrors, Lutzka's nollie flip down the adio gap from his UBF part where the heel of I believe his right shoe was not attached to the upper of the shoe, and just the entire Globe team wearing them almost exclusively for years...until the Encore came around and the finale was gone.

Any word on the Crocketts yet? Haven't heard as much as a peep from anyone involved and a lot of dudes seemed to be excited for it. I get wanting to push back the release for a time but it's kinda bad practice to keep posting about other shoes while not addressing an actual pro model slated to drop 3 weeks ago.

Yeah not sure what's going on. Vans website hasn't updated any pro skate models since that first SS drop. Have a giftcard and coupon so kind of waiting for that next wave. Also, vans stores and outlets are shut down near me since covid

Yeah I asked my local about them and they told me they ordered them a while back but then Vans had to cancel the order cus of Covid, not sure if its cus things didn’t arrive from China or not cus of it. So looks like another delayed release due to the pandemic. Im eagerly waiting for those to drop too!

You're speaking my language... I've lost friends over knowing random model names of subpar shoe brands.
I wish they would release a Vagrant type shoe again for Appleyard. That shoe looked sick, it had freyed stitching details and some crazy ballistic stitching on the toe. Loved the army green color.
