I have high hopes for these but why does the outsole look so wrong to me? Looks too smooth I’m too used to seeing Jordans and dunks with notches of the bottom showing through the side

I've only skated the Owen XLK recently and the elastic ripped day 1 making them unskateable.

From what I can tell... the Telfords are on the same sole as the Manchester XLK (cupsole) so do with that information what you will.

I'm planning on buying 1 pair and giving them a shot. I tried the Atlantic and Proto in the past. Both  of those were pretty good, so I'm more hopeful than not for these.

true, also i want to take that back about the lampin. i wanted to see a sid instead i guess, don't like lampins at all, they look clowny. but i like all black shoes with white stitching. they should have released those sk8 mids as a regular colorway.

they could have stitched the heart on the tongue and that would have been fine but apart from the heart looking gross the placement also sucks.

Lakai's are great shoes. I sometimes have trouble getting them to fit but overall they skate really good. They're very nostalgic for me and give me Fully Flared vibes. I wish the team had the heavy hitters like they had back then but they still have a pretty sick team.
