Man i hate it when they do this, suddenly i need a new Nano hahaha, i mean the battary's fucked on mine, but i could just send it back, i've got a 40gb ipod, a shuffle and a Nano, the i don't really use the 40GBer it's more storage, the Shuffle has basically been on "lone" for fucking ages, don't think i'll be getting that back anytime soon hahaha

And the Nano has been in the battle field for a year, i hate Apple and it's tasty produce - MEH

I bought a mini a year and a half ago.  I've had so many problems with it.  gone through 3 sets of headphones, the battery had to be replaced, same with the hard drive...god bless a warranty, but I'm definitely considering a 30 gig photo/vid one...plus i just got into photography and have over 2000 pics...

it's all about broadband wireless. once that become common place then the devices wont require onboard memory for files as you could stream your files off your web share. So a device that small could access your whole collection on your 300GB HD you access from home.

I wish I could use my ipod as a phone too, because I hate when I have to carry them both in my pockets.

I have a nano I got for free, 2gb, it holds an okay amount, but I could definatly use something with more memory, although I like the small size for skating.

The full screen Ipod will be interesting but I don't see how having the click wheel appear when you touch the screen is a good idea, every ipod screen has sucked, gotten scrateched easily, plus fingerprints.  my ipod broke after a year, then i found a 256mg samsung that hangs around my neck and i like better.

I'm pretty sick of apple in general, my ipod broke, the headphones came apart, and their customer service is horrible.  Basically sell themselves off of image.

Fuck i was thinking about this last night, i'm just going to start using my phone as a MP3 player.

I got a 2GB memory stick with it for free, you can watch TV, films what ever on it's screen seriously it's actually ok to watch shit on if you're on a bus or whatever, and it's one of the Sony walkman phones, i take the fucking thing everywhere with me anyway, taking head phones with me isn't really a hassle, fucking phone walkman and it's on !!!

I'm going to rep the W810i and that other new Sony i think the W510i or something like that they TV on that is fucking insane and it's all free on contract - STOKED !!!

that doesn't make any sense. they might use cheaper parts so that they happen to stop working after a year but programming an ipod to stop working after a year would only cost apple more money. my friend is on his 6th ipod for free because when the ipod breaks they give you a free one.

i dont know how much of a crock of shit that one year apple comment is. mine just shut down after having no problems, 2 weeks after the warranty ended. same with one of my friends, so we went to their forums and there was a shitload of angry responses about how everyones was fucking up a few weeks after warrantys run out. but it could just be coincidence. and a shuffle ipod is a stupid fucking idea, i want to listen to albums in succession not randomly generated lists.
