was "@$$#hole" really necessary? couldn't they have just put asshole?
...maybe it's a Transworld edit.
HAHAHAHA then the middle fingers would be blurred. And Davids face too, he looks stoned.
"And Davids face too, he looks stoned" FTW. But mark definitely didn't deserve this.
Let's consider the flip team for a second:
We got David Gonzalez- good skater, seems like a douche, kid
Laun de Oliviera- good skater, seems ok, still a kid
Curren Caples - good skater, 6 year old
Ben Nordberg- fucking rad, no complaints there, kid
Louie Lopez - ugh, infant
Andrew Langi- definitely a shredder, kid
Ali Boulala - ....yea
Rowley - legend, apparently a sourpuss douche
Lance Mountain - super legend, but not a street dude so he really doesn't have a place in this dilema
Bob Burnquist - same as Lance
Rune Glifberg - same as Lance and Bob
Tommy Penny- very very far past his prime
Rodrigo TX - sick guy, but trust me he won't be on Flip much longer either.
So that basically leaves Penny, Rowley, and Rodrigo as people Mark could mesh with on Flip. From what i hear, Penny is drugged out as fuck and barely skates anymore. Rodrigo and Marks styles are pretty damn different, and Rowley appears to be a vicious douche. Now in fall fairness, Element has a fair amount of youngins on their Am squad ( i don't give a fuck, nick garcia is amazing) but with Tim Tim, Darrel Stanton (who Mark refers to as one of his good friends in his TWS interview) and Levi Brown on the team, Marks got a nice foundation of skatebros going for him. Just a couple of slightly older, but clearly chill dudes who would definitely mesh well with him.
So yes, maybe it was mostly for the money, but don't fucking hate on the guy for jumping off the boat of a team that's going really far downhill to a team that seems to be attempting to rebuild their legitimacy.
