^^^^Some sick stuff on that. Love their 90's vibe. Some songs remind me of some Brotha Lynch Hung stuff.

^ yeah, one of the main reasons I like Raider Klan so much is that a lot of their music has this big 90s vibe to it. That mixtape has a lot of Three 6 Mafia samples and the production sounds like some Memphis underground shit. Overall It's kind of hit or miss, but the songs that stand out are REALLY dope.

SKYWLKR & BLACK NOI$E - exexmilitary

http://exexmilitary.bandcamp.com/

Remix of the Death Grips album. I'm not even a huge Death Grips fan, but this mixtape is really well done. These beats are on point. SKYWLKR and BLACK NOI$E both produce from Danny Brown and Bruiser Brigade, so expect that kind of production. Definitely worth checking out

^ Just came to post about that. Not even a huge Death Grips but I can't front, that album is really dope. Production is on point and some of those beats sound so good over a nice system. Hunger Games is sick.

mellowhype - numbers

http://www.sharebeast.com/d9qzdvodolgl

holy shit this is good, way better than no idols. 65, astro, beat, snare, p2, and gnc are standouts but the whole album is good. i wasn't really feeling nfwgjdsh though. or the "i'm too cool to think of good song titles" vibe of the tracklist.

heavily fuck with the gucci feature over the zaytoven production but i thought squadda's verse was pretty wack and disappointing, regardless the whole album has been on steady rotation.

alchemist is an infinitely better producer. no idols had much better beats. still good, though.

it's a matter of taste. i'm cool with a few sample-driven tracks, but a whole tape of them is harder for me to get down with -- college dropout and a few others excluded. besides, the only songs i have on my ipod with beats like numbers are other songs that left produced, and even they don't compare that well to most of these. i hear more shit in them every time i listen to the tape. and domo is good but he honestly didn't have great chemistry with alchemist. i liked him way more on under the influence. not entirely hating though, me and my bitch, like a star, the feeling, and daily news are tight.
