It almost looks like the old Indy Stage II (2) shape.

That one might be the clearest pic...

I've heard from a friend that knows a friend, that Oski is starting a new Truck Brand... I though he was tripping but now seeing that image I actually start to believe it! Curious to see how that's gonna look like.

Reliable source just confirmed Oski is creating a truck brand called Lurpiv

The company that registered the trademark is the same company that Oski posted on his story a few weeks back talking about being the first skater using their bearings.

Oski new truck brand thread here:

I took a few more screen grabs, as well as another pic from Dan's post, but as they are not Ace, I thought I would not repost the pics here in this thread.

You can see it all here:

They sure do look interesting though...

Looks like Bobby’s time on Ace was short lived just like every other pro that got free AF1 box:

One point I haven’t heard anyone make in here.

I’ve been riding an indoor park with wood flooring for years, it’s an ice rink.

Depending on the day and the humidity、it can get pretty crazy.

Anyways, I love doing long powerslides in there, and I noticed that my Ace are way more stable. Maybe it was the extra width of the classic 66s over the 169s I was using, by I don’t think so.

There is something about the trucks that helps me when I powerslide, especially frontside. It feels like the wheels are in the right place, I can’t describe it any better than that.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

same here. went from 149s to 55s few months ago. bombing hills and doing powerslides feels nice on the af1s! my 149s always had bones hard bushings too and the aces still feel more stable. my af1s are tightened about 1-2 threads showing

I have similar experience. I always used to ride pretty tight trucks with harder bushings for stability on my pops/tricks. When I started riding Ace I could actually ride loose trucks while still having that stable center :)

think the powerslide can be attributed to the tight WB. you have more weight (ability to control/initiate a slide) over the outside edge of the wheels.

Not to mention that he says he skates Ti, but then takes the Ti hanger off and makes them just forged hollows.

Noticed that too haha, must’ve hit his head or something. He also said he used to ride smaller boards like 8.5 with 139 but rides bigger boards like 8.5 with 159 now

It's amazing to me that so many pros don't know what the fuck they ride "forged titanium baseplate"

Is it just me or that video now comes up as private?

Anyone care to share the who, what, etc?

The comments remind me of Evan Smith with one 149 and one 159 truck in his video.

EDIT:

Just saw the email notification, so guessing it was this one:

Maybe they took it down because he's repping a brand and product but sounds like a dumbass when speaking incorrectly about a product he thinks he uses that doesn't exist?

Sweet ass barrier 50-50 tho.

I think I know what's going on here. This dumbass thinks "forged titanium" only refers to the baseplate, and probably thinks the axles are regular steel ones. Wanting the lightest truck possible, he switched the hanger for a hollow axle one, thinking that it would make it even lighter (cause hollow means light durr"). Yeah, it's unbelievable how so many pro's have zero clue about gear.

It's even wilder that this was supposed to be an official marketing video and no one realized before putting it online. Clueless. :D
