i think i have to just try them. i think am going to run the Ace Hard bushings. I just run the standard stock bushings on my indy's and i like it. my friend actually suggested i try the bones Extra Hard bushings, i think he said they were 99a. I actually ride the indy fairly loose like only 1 thread down so maybe i can just tighten it to like 1.5 threads on Ace and go from there. that is the only way to truly know if you liek it better.
I don't think you will need to change the bushings on your Aces to be honest. The default bushings are just fine tighter (unless you are a heavier-set guy, then maybe the hards would be worth it)... but just as a reminder: just like with any new trucks, ride on them loose for a while for (a session or two) to wear them in before cranking the truck tightness to where you like it.
To clarify, the point of my reply was essentially to suggest: just stick with Indys if that's what you're comfortable with. The two of them aren't terribly different all things considered. While I personally prefer Ace at this point in my skating, I'm also pretty trash these days. If my main goal was to continue progressing, I would say its more important to just stick with a setup you enjoy than messing with things like (in this case) your truck height.
That being said, I'm not going to talk someone out of buying Aces... they are great, and they lived up to the hype for me. The only major downside for me is they are very heavy (but so are Indy Standards) and its a bit more difficult to set up tricks on them at times.
If you like intentionally carving back and forth rather than just skating forward, you will love these trucks. I've always done that, and these make it so much more enjoyable with how they help you rebound back from a turn.
