Agreed. Sometimes shitty little companies pick up amazing guys before they get big. Good for this kid, bad for the kid. Not hating on him either, Jason Adams is one of my all time favorite skaters, I just always forget about him. His part in Label kills is fucking amazing.

1031 is apparently getting better teamwise, but I disagree on the name and graphics. Naming a skateboarding company a human name like "Roger" is clever and funny. 1031 is not. On a related note, I find Sieben's graphics funny, and 1031's cheesy

I've never ridden either Roger or 1031, but the reason I like Roger more is cause they're graphics are funny, and if I remember correctly, Svitak has started a whole bunch of companies that sunk, so it just doesn't seem serious.

Anyway, Jason deserves to stay in the game, hope he doesn't fade out.

I think Roger's and 1031's graphics come from a similar sense of humor, both are skater owned and run, I would support both companies, I still think it is a Slap double standard, but I do respect your opinion.

I've had good experiences with 1031... I've only ridden two of their decks but they were proper. I also dig Kristian... he and the company seem to have a really good skate ethic, just skate rats and all. It'll be interesting to see what direction Jason takes the art.

As far as humor and graphics go, Roger does have that on lock, but those are on the least of my concerns when choosing what to ride. I'd love a weed & cobras for a wallhanger though.

Ya that seems  really bizzare to me... and to tag along with what you and grim were saying, regardless of what their graphics are, they have one of the gnariest and hardest working teams out there. Like I said before, what other teams do you know of that not only put out atleast one full video every year, but also go on atleast 2 nation wide tours annually also. None. And their boards are infact good.

Since most companies graphics obviously have a certain image 1031 never appealed to me BUT I ended up getting one of the decks because of the hype my local shop gave em and those decks are top notch. The riders are all mad chill and kill a demo, aaaand your all haters.
