^ Yeah. I heard about this too, but also heard he managed to be a dick somehow while doing it.

everybody in his family and town are unintelligent? that's a pretty bold guesstimation to make.
[close]

Why? Intelligence is influenced tremendously by heredity and the environment where a kid grows up. Dumbasses don't just pop out of no where. People reflect their environments. Besides, I said most, immediate, and neighborhood, don't change the wording to make it sound more outlandish, it really isn't.
[close]

No, there are no innate qualities that make people stupid. You believing that however, does make you stupid.
[close]
Not that I want to side with that asshole at all, since I don't think Forrest actually is unintelligent, but what about downs syndrome or other forms of developmental disability? There definitely is innate intelligence, that is, the ability to learn quickly or not, though with extra work almost anybody can become very smart and well-read.
[close]
Of course those are biological factors. But they are biolological abnormalities and not actually from your heritage. When I hear people talk about heredity and intellegence there are usually linking it to race, which is bullshit. Even if they aren't talking about race it's still incorrect, you can't have "stupid gene" passed down to you.
I agree and completely disagree with everything he is saying. Mango is dumb as a goddamn box of rocks, but nobody is questioning his family or neighborhood saying shit like "he doesn't want to get filmed because he is lazy, and obviously comes from a family and neighborhood filled with people who can't take life seriously." Or "You can tell he is always goofing around because of something innate inside of him"
I just want to kind of stay on the sidelines a bit for my reputation of being the "Al Franken of the message board"
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

Mango seems like he would get annoying fast, same with Reuben (sp). John and I would probably get a long the best, he's quite and just skates.

When is episode 10 being released?

kid's already kind of a star, and you all know who i'm talkin about.  soul and style are extremely important, without a doubt.  but the pros get hammers and bangers, and push limits.  no one else stepped up to that rail?

also fried chicken and champagne is some proper baller shit. uh, even if you gotta breakout the power tools real quick.

Someone needs to explain to Joe what "passive aggressive" means. Also, remind him that every time a white man says "you do you" an angel is sodomized in heaven...

Hahaha...so true.

Forest finishing out the day with a bottle of wine that he opened with a drill and a screw, makes him the MVP of that day.

The only thing more awkward than Jake Phelps is Joe Brook trying to be Jake Phelps.

Yep, neither interviewers nor interviewees are up to the task in that face-to-face snooze fest. More skating please.

Not even Dill himself is downriver enough to open up a bottle of wine with a drill. that's like something one of the dudes in The Grapes of Wrath would do.

A real OIAM would choose Sauvignon Blanc.

Chardonnay tastes like it's been strained through Gershon's underpants after a heavy session.
