That's what I thought. Whiteley said attitude played a part in who won and John is still skating as hard as anyone else when he has a perfect excuse to take it easy. That's gonna count for something.

skating with stitches in your head isn't that gnarly. The odds of a skateboarder hitting his head is so low, that it doesn't matter. If he had some stiches in his shin or something, and was doing flip tricks, or a broken wrist and jumping down shit that would be gnarly.

i want mango to win even tho i doubt he will. everything he does is unique and fun, same goes for his style. he's not going as big as the others but it looks like he has fun 100% of the time which gets me really psyched to skate. compare that to forrest who's straight up mugging the camera every moment and i think that shines through his skating. its not fun for me to watch.

one of my mates skates like him and its so entertaining to watch, one of those guys that when he does a trick you laugh with stoke rather than bieng like

I'm not trying to argue either way but unless you've had stitches in your head you can't debate which is gnarlier.I've had both and I couldn't skate with that soon after either, especially not the day it happened.They shove a needle in there and scrub it which later in the day hurts like hell.

that was bloody good. he's been my favourite from the start, team matty!

fs flip at 1:30 is incredible. i like busenitz-esque style skating but i am pretty big sucker for 'big hammers' if you will. i really like matty because he combines the two. not too 'organic' in the sense of only doing is 'natural' shitty 5050s and wallies etc. but having a really good, super fast loose style combined with difficult tricks. basically the wes kremer program
