late to this thread. but ill contribute what no one in here cares about.

The Office blew it. I think they are perpetuating the idea that their park will sometime exist but they got evicted from where they were in Schaumburg. Got to skate there a couple times when they were letting people in during their eviction wait time or whatever, but it wasnt anything to rave about.

Personally, I think Krush would be cool if they kept it nice. IE fixing holes in ramps and sweeping up. IMO Its worth the money and drive to skate, I just dont want to feel like im on ice the entire time while also avoiding holes. Even with those problems, I think its still the best bet for a decent indoor winter session.

Havent been to Asylum, but I heard its decent. Apparently, Very small and can get packed easily.

Obviously Audubon is so cold because theres no heater at all, you basically are skating outside. What sucks the most is all around helmet rule for every age. Weak.

Warp. Why even bother. Last time I was there, their set up was pretty weak. And I heard that they got rid of the long box that was aight.

Not that anyone cares, but I know a couple of suburban skate parks were somewhat shoveled previous to the snow storm. but that doesnt matter now!!!

Does the homewood park still have a labyrinth entrance? I only went once and there was some gang fight going on so we booked, but the park is basically the exact same as Mokena. Wonderful mini ramp.

When exactly? I've got work and school on weekends but who knows.

I miss those lil brick pyramids on Sheffield. I work right by em and would skate them on all my breaks. I almost learned backside noseblunts on one of em, then I had to go back to work.

Next day, we get our first snow, and them shits have been buried ever since :<

hahaha remember how years ago they wanted to put in a street course? They did what was cheaper I guess and just tore it the fuck down. Wasn't their skatepark mentioned on a welcome sign for the town itself?

So is Logan shoveled out? I might go there this weekend for a bit takes me like 20 minutes via public transportation, but I don't wanna make the trek if it's gonna be all snowed in. It's gonna be awesome, I'm gonna eat so much shit when/if I go.

Yeah there was like a town mural or something, and the skatepark was the centerpiece of it all.

Even if it's not shoveled, I'm still gonna skate.

^^ Haha, get your sessions in quick cuz they're calling for snow in less than a week.

Bummed when I went out to skate today and the melting snow covered everything except a 10x10 patch of flatground. But got damn it was nice not having to wear a hoody.

If its the one with the green ramps its pretty fun, a little different from the rest of the shit you find around. I think they have a good mini ramp. They have a super fun spine thats long and good for grinds. They have some weird kinked flat bar an up ledge. The hip is like missing a side so you can go up an gap to flat real easy. I think they allow bikes, but it's a pretty fun park. At least I think so.

yea ive been to that park a few times when ive been out to park ridge, the up ledge and the spine are the best part of the park.  Now that i thnik about it, the quarter pipes they have there are pretty fun too, small enough to learn shit on and take it to the bigger ramp extensions

skated wilson last night, still alot of snow.   Both the bowls are fucked, the quarterpipe is the only thing really skateable besides the little ledge

Chicago is great for about 4 or 5 months out of the year, the rest of the time you spend looking for a dry spot that isn't covered in grime from the dirty snow. I've skated even less this winter than I did last winter, fuck fuck fuck, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SUMMER
