« on: January 11, 2011, 01:14:43 PM »
Me and my girlfriend are starting college again we could really use Microsoft office.

She has a PC with windows Vista

and I have a Netbook with Windows XP

Does anyone know where I can get this program for either of these two computers?

I would really really appreciate any help/advice on getting either

Thank you,

I will grant an abundance of gnars

what program do you want from MSoffice exactly?
you can download other programs(openoffice) that can open and edit MSoffice files without having MSoffice on your machine.

Openoffice is a complete "clone" of MS Office, but is free and completely open source.

Wow! Hey thanks faster, I downloaded abiword and it worked great!
It opened the documents I needed earlier that were created in Word 2010.

Thank you too Twitch! I just got back from work so I haven't downloaded Open Office yet
but it'll be the first thing I do before I head to the library tomorrow.
A complete "clone" ehh? Sounds enticing!!
