That dude has been super rad every time I've skated with him at Potrero and/or had beers at Pops down the street. He is a real nice dude as far as I know.

They don't need new cameras, they need actual skill because they suck a dick at using them. They've got VXs, just terrible people behind them.

Besides that, from seeing Peabody skate the park (Not the bowl) in person, he should stay in the bowl. Sorry Gip, David Loy can skate the park better than Peabody, but Peabody can kill the bowl.

How many times you see him skate it? Once? Dude has lines and transfers nobody else can even get enough speed to try. Sorry he didn't put on a show for you. That rock fakie he did on that wall before he switch ollied over the skinny hip is fucking insane, and he's the only dude I've seen get to the top, let alone transfer into the tombstone wall, and especially not doing back nosegrind and backside tailslide transfers. That park is really simple, but there are tons and tons of hidden little hips and gems that some guys, like the ones in the video, find and crush.

I never took Peabody or Sean as assholes, just kind of stand offish. I skated potrero like 500 times with both of them, probably literally, before I ever got any sort of acknowledgement that we basically saw each other every day. Honestly though, eventually they ended up kinda chill. They just got that "cool guy" attitude that is really annoying. I've heard second hand stories of Peabody being with a crew of people who were all about to go out to a bar and having little baby fits about not wanting to go out if some guy or another was with them, but I've never personally experienced that.
I've seen Trujillo talk shit to random kids around the park who weren't even skating or trying to talk to him. He seemed wasted, but still, the actions you take when you are drunk still have consequences.
I still stand by my opinion that that dude Pablo is the raddest of the crocker kids though.

Who cares if they're assholes, they're not getting paid to be your friend. Not everyone is Karl Watson. What do you want to talk to them for anyways? So that you feel like you made a connection with someone "important"? Just leave them alone and let them skate. I don't know any of them, so I don't know if they're good people or shitheads or what, but I do know that they are people. They're not magic. They're just some random dudes who happen to be pretty good at the ol' shred stickery. Whatever.

Having said that, I did see Sean Guitterizietrez at Potrero and that dude is pretty forkin' gnarballs. He did some weird beanplant to pivot type things in the bowl and then hung up on a back smith in the deep end - straight bodyslam to flat. Jumped right up like it was nothing. That says more to me than whether or not he makes smalltalk with strangers at a skatepark.

Some people assert their assholeness. Being a passive asshole isn't really that big of a deal, but if its one of those cases where people are going out of their way to be assholes, or fucking with other people's good time for no reason, which can happen, especially in a skatepark.
Though if you are talking about what I was saying, I didn't really care, though I do know and would be hanging out with a lot of the same people as them, so the fact that I was a stranger seemed almost intentional.

We were at Delirium in SF (I don't live there I live 5 hrs north and was visiting) which is a big skate bar. I randomly see my buddy Sean (NOT Guitterizietrez) who lives up north also and we laugh and get beers, "woah crazy what are you doing in the city, blah blah blah, cool." Random. Were standing around drinking a beer and its busy its like Friday night and Pbody walks up to Sean and Sean's like, "Hey dude this is my buddy Matt, Matt this is Fetus." (that's their nickname for Pbod.)
"Hey dude good to meet you, you know this crazy fucker?" I say talking about Sean who is a crazy fuck.
He wouldn't shake my hand and said something snide like, "Yeah I fucking know him, I've known him longer than you." Mean mug.
Alright dude cool. Fuck you.
Pbod walks off. Sean says to me dont worry about it hes a fucking asshole.

Not some random skatepark encounter where i told him how good he was or what TNT was like in real life.
