Drops of superglue on new shoes?

just did this for the first time to my new Ipath Darius'
I'm still not planning on skating them just yet
but i did it to make the smaller, non-decorative stitches hold up better
and after i get a sense of exactly where they are going to wear down, I'll also spread on some shoe-goo.

superglue dries rock fucking hard, and i don't like feeling like im trying to ollie with a pair of plastic shoes on.
so I'll stick to super glue for stitches, and shoegoo for ollie holes.

and when i shoegoo, it doesn't look like snot, cause i know how to use a fucking ice cube.
you only need a little bit, and you gotta spend the time spreading around the panel properly and evenly.

care to have a "patch-up" off?

yeah i do this, and it helps, i just dont like how the flick of the shoe feels when the glue is on though.
