Separate: Anyone ever have friends who were irresistibly beautiful (man or woman)? Being in public with such people can really make a mofo feel invisible, in my experience.
I went to a mostly hispanic school and my friend and I started hanging out during lunch after I got dumped and it took us most of lunch to get through a hallway (my school was pretty small) because he constantly was pulled over by a girl hitting on him. I feel the pain.
Damn. Yeah, I had a period where I'd go to outdoor concerts every week with a pretty lady friend a couple of summers ago, & she'd get so much attention/intrigue from people (random conversations from strangers, compliments etc) that I couldn't help but to feel overlooked = a pretty shitty feeling.
Other times, a few of my friends would get really self conscious about bringing girls around one of our boys years back, because the girls would usually end up being interested in him, more than half the time.
I'd say I'm semi-okay, average looking, but not stunningly handsome. So, I have to rely on personality and extending the olive branch to get noticed (which I struggle with enough). Oh, well.
