New DLX boards

I heard the red ply thing but never passed on a deck because of it. Doesn't apply to bottom ply I hope, the shop decks I skate are red with black paint and yellow top that so many people seem to hate.
I think they look sick.

I actually don't like a natural wood-grain for my bottom ply. I enjoy seeing the bottom ply color come through the slide marks on the graphic

I have noticed that lots of the new boards DLX are making have bottom colored ply's, rather than natural wood, and I fucking hate it. My krooked, my friends real, and my other friends anti-hero board all scratch out to color. Am I the only one that really fucking hates this? I really wish that they still had wood plys on the bottom. I was gunna email them but i couldn't find an address on www.dlxsf.com, so i figured i would post it here. Thoughts?

heres a good idea, ride the boards or dont ride them. I am sure no one at dlx gives two shits if the bottom is not to your liking. have a nice fucking day.

as long as boards aren't fully dipped, I don't think anyone really gives a shit about what color the plies are.

i have no problem with the board wearing to a colored ply, but i do prefer the good old classic normal wood color.

when i purchase a skateboard i make sure its my size, and a good shape. color of top or bottom doesn't matter nor should it, i want the board to feel good while i ride it and honestly could give a fuck less if its a red top or not. my current roger is a red top and its probably my favorite deck I've had all year.. i would rather spend more time skating then mulling over if i can stand the finish of my deck or not
