didn't want to be that guy but no one else has stepped up:

jake phelps shouldn't be allowed in video premieres or in public in general.

what grown ass man throws popcorn on people and full cans of beer around?

the video was good. it was available for free download for a couple of hours this morning
on the deluxe site but the link just went down. no one got it?

He was being a fucking person at Tampa Pro. During the best trick comp he just jumped up on the ledge everyone was skating and stood there for a while, and then during the product toss he just took Torey's board and threw it.
I agree. Phelps is a fucking kook and should be banned from premieres, trade shows, contests, etc. He is a total embarrassment to the sport these days yet insists on being the center of attention. Saw him at the last trade show dressed like a fucking organ grinder monkey. Enough already.

Chima was ok. Something about the song he had killed it though. His stuff was a lot of single trick things with not a whole lot of lines. It starts off pretty slow and then it picks up towards the end. He does a back three over a rail (I think the hard way) and that boardslide that was on the Transworld cover. I liked his Volcom part more but I think I have to watch this whole video again to get a better liking to certain parts.

Ishod (to me) had one of the better parts in the video and considering he did it all within the past couple of years is pretty insane. He fucks up some serious shit on some rails and had some nice lines as well. I think his last trick was something on that rail that Leo starts off in Stay Gold.

Oh....and Brockel's trick at Dolores Park....fuck!

yeah, he skated to she's still suffering by cass mccombs. sorta feel ya, the skating was great but i felt it was a little off for some reason, like it didn't match or something. can't really put my finger on it... song is still cool on its own tho.

busenitz part was awesome. he skates low impact stuff but the way he skates it makes it high impact. he's also one of the only people who makes manual skating look somewhat dangerous.

donnelly skated to blow the whistle and it/his part in general was awesome

torres came through pretty hard. he shared a part with dompierre since nick's been hurt for so long, and big ern's stuff was legit. nick's stuff too i just wouldn't mind a full part from him on his own (obviously, who wouldn't)

jt aultz went biiiiig. his opening slam is fucked up. basically just went from the top step to the ground on this big set of stairs.

love hardy. very pleased he went pro.

brock had 2 parts and killed it in each

overall awesome video. some of the music/filming was kind of crappy but all in all it was sick.

Was stoked that they used a Modern Lovers song for Dennis' part, worked great.
Ernie Torres part, sleeper hit of the year.

Fuck yeah! That sounds great. Which song was it?

Sick, i'd like to see someone skate to this one, probably not fast enough for Busenitz though.

Are there Justin Brock "haters"? Dude kills it and is super likeable if you ever meet him. Only case I've ever heard anybody pick on him for, is that he calls his shots.

I remember I bought his board and had learned fs bigspins within days. Coincidence? I think not

Sat across the aisle from Beagle which was pretty neat. Saw so many pros and random skate people. Free Peace Teas and Hansen's Sodas, haha. So sick for the first premier I've ever gone to.

Every Slap Pro skater that posts in here was at the premiere including Kalis, Watson and Eman.

That's sick. Didn't see those dudes. I was at the 9pm showing, don't know if that makes a difference. Whiteley walked past me while I was waiting in line but I thought it'd be awkward to say something about posting here. I think I saw Jamie Thomas too. SLAP forum was definitely holding it down at the premier.

i cant see that being possible

Wolfe edited it with the whole team, but didn't film most of it. THE VIDEO WAS FUCKING AMAZING. TOMMY AND RAY WERE AMAZING. Mad respect to real/dlx and everyone else for putting on an amazing FREE event for everyone.

I can all of Dan's recent stuff has been garbage. He has a homie cam approach to his filming now, which in a recent interview it seems he considers to be "raw" but it just sucks. Dan Wolfe used to be a legend in this shit but now idk if it's pure laziness or if he really looks at it as being unique or an "artform". I don't consider filmig skateboarding to be an art, it's either right or wrong, simple as that.

I saw a recent video he filmed on a tour, the jake donnely adidas commercial and then there was that buzenitz bench thing, the guy films with a dslr for fisheye shots, that looks terrible most of the time.  I actually used to really hate on HD but now that people have learned how to do it, it's looking good but Dan hasn't gotten there yet, worst part is he think he has.

I'm sure the Real video isn't bad though, and I'm psyched to see it.
