So good, I didn't even realise it was Cass McCombs until I searched for the soundtrack. Went so well with his skating.

Cass McCombs is the best artist I discovered the last year, love everything he's ever put out.
I really don't get the soundtrack hate; Joy Division, Public Enemy, Mccombs, Minor Threat, Don't leave me hanging on the telephone song,... Excellent soundtrack imo

Yeah, I've discovered him from Jerry's part but I've got a lot more of his stuff in the past year. He just released that new album, too, dude is sick.

Damn, I must of been too focused on the skating but who skated to Joy Division? It might help if I watch the vid more than just once at the prem.

Alex Perelson did and to be fair, it was Warsaw. Still a rad song, though.

ya dude, egg hunt, brian eno and too $hort kill it too. like i said, every song aside from brocks"move it on over" and ramondettas song were sick. and even those 2 weren't THAT BAD id rather hear those than MGMT or kid cudi or something
my theory is that with a diverse soundtrack, most people will only like one or 2 songs and see the rest as a abyss of torture. or everyone is just on the slap sheep of hate state of mind.

i hated the music but music is so subjective. i couldn't listen to Cass Mccombs outside of a skate part, i didn't mind it for the dylan. part.

ramondetta's song sounded like a stock heavy metal preset you hear when you download a music program.

went to the premier last fryday, there was about a 10 minute section that got missed by the whole shop because these redbull selling-hotpant wearing-sexy bitches came in to sell redbull ad stole the attention of the whole shop. i have no idea what i missed but im not really too bothered
[close]
They sell redbull where you're from? Usually those bitches show up to video premieres and just give that shit away. What did you guys do to them that caused them to charge?
[close]

in europe, redbull already is known by everyone. they dont need to give out free drinks, people will pay for it too.

that cocacola-redbull thingy called "burn" is mostly free here though, in austria they have put fridges in skateshops and deliver free "burn". not gonna buy one or the other though.

Missing ten minutes of the REAL vid to buy a red bull = stupidity
Actually paying money for a red bull at a skateboarding related event = PRICELESS

So I finally got to watch this and god damn.

Jake Donnelly's part will be on repeat for a while. Loved Massimo/Brockel, HUF, and Busenitz. Those dudes straight killed it. Also liked Schaff's part with the motorcycle.

Thanks Jim, Mic, and the rest of the crew for putting together an amazing video.  Every time I watch it I come up with a new favorite part.

watched this with a friend who hadn't seen it yet. melted his face. dude seriously couldn't even talk after it was done. my girl was like. why does he look like a zombie. i spoke to her for like a few minutes and when i turned around, dude had gotten in the car and was leaving. i spoke to him later and he was like, "sorry dude, i felt like i couldn't breathe, i needed some window air in my face." i think that's the best reaction i've ever seen to a skate vid ever. like visceral shit.

if you're fronting on this vid (though i can see where everyone is coming from, it's all just preference) you're still fronting. really though.

Had first watch today, wasn't really feeling it. Can't really say why too. All the tricks were amazing, no one really crended at all.
I know they were going for the no bullshit/lifeys classic skate editing but something didn't come off quite right. Everyones parts were amazing but I don't think I could ever watch the whole vid in one go again. Will definitely watch the occasional part every now and then though. I thought Chima was fucking amazing, best sw bs heels, swbstails and bs 3's and boozentits was boozentits, love the impromptu looking long lense lines.

Yeah, I prefer videos where people crend.
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”

where is the Davis appreciation in this thread?  He had my favorite part albeit a bit of fake style at times.  Also Chima, Antoine, Ernie, and that Dennis guy.  The music wasn't great but it didn't rrruin the video.  The angles and the filming in general were the worst part about the video though, really ruined some of the tricks.  Is there actually a debate that Dompierre didn't land that oceanside noseblunt?

I enjoyed it way more the second watch. It was just way too much to grasp on the first time that it was hard to get stoked, the whole thing with mixing aspect ratios with HD and SD wasn't that rad.

The second time I watched it though, boy did I get fucking stoked! I seriously don't see why Ernie doesn't get more love, he's always been gnarly as fuck with a great trick selection. HUF's part is a great part to watch before going out cruising your local downtown. I really really liked Massimo, Antoine and Kyle Walker's stuff. Brock and Dennis just went MURDAH! Fuck, this video is awesome.

Yeah totally agree with aspect thing, im watching on a smaller laptop so its brutal on that, the switching back and forth.

Big Ern does need more love, i hate how they mixed Domp and Ern together instead of seperating them like the other shared parts.  I think big ern just needs a better edit/music selection for a part.  I cant think of any super good parts of the dude but the random footage i see of him is always quality
