he was just hyped pretty hard for a couple years and he didnt really come through with a part. I think people were offput by the fact that he shared a part instead of looking at how gnarly the tricks in that part actually were.

Nick has been on and off again hurt for over a year. His leg was pretty fucked up for a while from a motorcycle accident(lady swerved into his lane head on)... Street League was his first attempt back at skating. Then he severely bruised his heel... then just as that was getting better.. he did it again.... then again.

I understand the music complaint, everyone has different tastes.  But the editing complaint has always baffled me; it's fucking clips of tricks put in a timeline.  What the fuck can be so bad about clip after clip of skateboarding tricks?  Kook me all you want but the idea of "shitty editing" in skate videos has always seemed super pretentious to me.

The ultimate surprise was that a switch flip down LOVE was filler footage in the middle of Ishod's part. No slow-mo or anything. Never thought I'd see a day where the fountain got switch flipped and it wasn't some glorified slow mo. Pretty cool for that kid.

How bad Dan Wolfe has really gotten at filming and making a skateboard video, it's pretty sad actually.

How some of those songs were actually given the ok(Donnelly, Brock, Asselin, Ramondetta...second hand embarrassment while watching).

How professional the skating was but how unprofessional every other aspect of the video was.

How this video was digression from Real to real.

That it was actually as bad as some people had said.
