The alien would pick apart every plot inconsistency to the point where no one was having fun anymore.

Following the sci-fi movie incident, Donovan prompted a "why can't you let loose more often" argument. They've been on a few dates since, but it just hasn't been the same. Outsiders are starting to speculate their compatibility and wonder if it really is for the best that they stay together for the kids.

Couples counseling is in the works.
