latino kids love skating

it seems like every tour video i watch recently, 75% of the skater kids who show up at these demos and signings are hispanic. nothing wrong with that, just seems disproportionate. anyone else notice this? or am i just seeing things

are we just talking about americans?   i'll back his if we are speaking about latino kids the world over.  the kids in argentina that like skating are really, really into it.........says the black american who grew up there. 

if anything the kids are just more hungry in south america...it's gnarly so you get dudes coming out of there on some next level shit and skating the shittiest setups possible.   it's tight.     funny how alot of south americans get labeled as 'robots' but in reality they have skated the shittiest spots ever for their whole lives.

The best weather year round is the southern half of America, which coincidentally is also where the boarder for mexico is.  Pros don't want to travel to skate in shitty weather they want to go where its halfway decent. I agree that Latinos do love skateboarding.

seems like it. most of the new kids at my local skatepark were latino. especially the younger ones. I'm friends with a lot of the older ones. Diversity in skating is cool. The weird thing is most of the kids who were my age were white but the kids younger than us are more comprised of latinos. kind of. mostly.
