I had a friend in high school who got a tattoo of something regular that I can't even remember on his head. We all told him it was stupid but he said, "My hair will cover it so its no big deal." I haven't talked to or seen the dude in probably 8 years and run into this other guy that we both knew. He told me first guy was going bald and stressing his head tattoo because he is a investment banker or some shit. Made my day.

I was born with extremely thick, dark wavy hair.

My hairline has been exactly the same my whole life (age 23 now).

Everyone who has ever cut my hair has said, "Well, you never have to worry about going bald!"

Every girl I've ever been physically involved with has went straight for my hair. At least 2-3 different times, girls that didn't even seem to like me arbitrarily started stroking my quaff during go-nowhere conversations.

Balding bugged me out for a while and rocked the hat thing for a minute, but then accepted my fate and said fuck it. As long as you got a good haircut the top looks better no matter how far your hairlines pushed back or thinned. Plus its like Larry said in that clip, hats are a false representation.

^ My hair started out super thick, and now I'm losing it. Its weird because its still super thick on the sides, but on the top there is definitely sun hitting my scalp.

I feel you on the hat thing. I feel like this might be the last years of my life with some decent coverage so I am laying off the hat thing. But once I get the balls to shave off my head, I am going to have to hide my alien head all day long. I still do wear hats though especially if I am out in the sun just cause it shows my scalp more.

I've seen Marc Johnson claim he isn't really bald and he just likes the head shaved look in an interview, but I've seen the stubble coming in, and that dude definitely would not grow a full head of hair.
As a consulation, he's definitely the best balding skater.

If at first I noticed I was going bald, I would keep my hair long and do the creepy stuff. FULL ON combover and act serious about it, or the long hair on the sides and back (possible balding Pony). After I got my shits n giggles just shave it.

To those going bald:

-Message your scalp. You need to keep the scalp loose and blood circulating especially on the top. Kneed upwards. A tight scalp will soon be a bald one. If you are losing hair, it is probably best to do this 30 minutes every day.

-Rub oil into your scalp once or a few times a week before bed. Olive , castor and almond oil will work or any saturated fat. Edgar Cayce reccomended pure crude oil if you wanna get gnarly. Fats/oils in the scalp are stripped away with excessive shampoo use and need to be replenished. If you want to keep your hair, you have replenish and maintain this layer of fat.

-Phase out shampoo or find something like that wen stuff they sell on tv without all the surfactants and harsh chemicals. I use 100% aloe vera gel sometimes but mostly just oil since I razor it down most of the time.

Unless you are losing hair from thyroid problems or an auto immune disorder, these three things alone will help you keep what you have or cause regrowth if in the early stages. I've been doing all this for almost three years and still have a full head of hair and that is with baldness being on both sides of my family. Just looking out.
