i'm sick of buying socks that lose elasticity and get holes way too quick. what are the best socks you have skated in.?

I had a pair of Black Label argyle socks a while back that lasted me like 2 years, it was absolutely ridiculous. If you ever see a pair on sale, pick 'em up.

never had a problem with any of the Stance socks I have, same with the 4Star and I've had some I-Path socks for over 5 years.

I usually just get a regular bag of Hanes socks, but I have two pair of Stances that I won here, one being a regular version, the other being the Jason Jessee art ones. The Jesses are ok, but they're more for looks (though the bottom of the socks and toes are pretty thick).

The regular ones I have are my favorite though... they've been sweated out, washed a bajillion times, and they hold on super good. I wear plastic ankle braces when I skate, and sometimes on other socks they scoot down, then I have to redo the braces so the plastic won't rub my ankle/lower shin raw. The stances stay up every time. They also happen to be my favorite sock-footed socks for walking around the house. I barely even walk, just foot slide on the wood floors like a soap shoe'r on my way to the fridge.

Years ago I ordered some shoes though active, and they sent me a pair of their socks. They quickly became my favorite pair of socks. The Toy Machine socks are really nice too. Lost mine in New Orleans though.

Call me a snob, but I pretty much only skate in nike socks. They have something resembleing ankle support which tricks my brain into thinking I'm impervious to ankle rolls.

long polo socks. Old man colors. Super thin and look good if your socks show with the pants you wear.
