That would've required a lot of set up they didn't have time for, so I'll take it. I'm surprised, but not really at this season taking liberties with leaving characters out of episodes (no Arya last episode, no Dany this episode, and still no Varys). I hope they have longer scenes with characters soon, they're strumming this along and I have a feeling those who haven't read the books won't be as into it. I liked this episode's theme though, all of the lost Stark children were presented with characters that are trying to help--Sansa and the Tyrells, Bran and the Reeds, Arya and the Brotherhood. Pretty cool.

From the premiere: I don't get why there are a bunch of dead Northerners at Harrenhal, when it was garrisoned by Lannister men. How did they get all of the Northerners in there and murder them all?

There are definitely inconsistencies that have bugged me so far. I was honestly pissed off when they just introduced Barristan Selmy as himself. To me that was a huge part of the book, with him and Jorah playing off of each other and Jorah not quite being able to pinpoint who he is. And yeah, the Arya thing bugged me too. Everyone who just watches the show needed to know just how much of a little bad ass she is. I'm sure it'll be fine, but sometimes you just want to nitpick.

The torrent I downloaded was fucked up at the end for some reason so it cut to that song before the credits while he was getting chopped. It was pretty bizarre to watch with that playing.
