and twitter is pretty much the shit. its a lot less personal than facebook, which is why i prefer it. you basically subscribe to (follow) people and their updates. obv you dont give 2 shits what (fill in celebs name) is doing, so you dont have to follow them. buuut im into standup comedy, so the people i follow consist of louis ck, rob delaney, jim gaffigan, patton oswalt etc. im also really into sports, so i do give a shit what chad ochocinco, ronaldo, j roll, brian wilson, etc are doing. same with music, skating etc.... also, lots of athletes/bands post shit on twitter before you would be able to read it on some other website. bands constantly give away tickets, post a rough cut of some new song they are working on blahblahblah.

sorry for the long post, but so many people on here talk shit or are confused by twitter... thought maybe id be able to semi educate.
