Kids using the entire park to get up speed to jump over a fucking garbage can and get mad at you when you don't see them coming.??  They literally start at the other side of the park.??  I'm like dude, wtf am I supposed to be???  A fucking radar detector for when you are going to try a trick.??  Fuck off.

Also, when kids look at me like I am not supposed to be there because I don't wear skinny fuck jeans or shit.??  I were fucking shorts or basketball pants because they are fucking awesome to skate in.??  Also, because I am fucking huge, they look at me like wtf???  Not round by the way, like that typical fat skater that tries to do tricks, but more or less just chills.??  I am naturally thick muscle built. They need to fuck off little munchkin fucking kids, can probably land more fucking tricks than you even at 250lbs,??  I'll ass rape you with my fist.??  Skaters are so judgmental sometimes.??

Lastly,

Bethpage.?  Most of the kids are chill there, some of them really chap my ass though.

knew it...those dopes use the snake run in reverse and defeat the purpose of it...I always wanna slappy that curb right around where they put the garbage can but the kids that skate the ledge squat it to slowly roll into that ledge towards the deep end of the bowl.

VHS theme in skate videos is getting really played out

The ''creative'' skating with powerslides and ollies. I love that type of skating, but only when it's mixed with some real talent f.ex. Madars Apse

People hating on tricks that look bad, when the only reason they look bad is because only the weirdo kooks try to do them while the rest are too afraid of getting hated on.

Camo hats, shirts, pants etc.

People being super impressed on P-rod doing his ''switch'' treflip for the 1000th time down a skatepark set

Wearing beanies during the summer

Weed everywhere

Tucked in wifebeater

Dude, I know exactly what you mean.  It is fucking whack.  That slappy ledge looks fun as fuck too.  I went to the Northport park before and It was so much better.  Shit is spread out and has so many more ledges/everything.  Imma get at you with a PM tho the next day I know for sure I am going down to Bethpage.
I suck at SLAP.

Is there an abundance of "bombers" where you guys live?

I'd say 1 out of 5 people at my school own cruisers with longboard trucks and wheels, or longboards and say they "bomb". unbelievably lame, I'd bet that not one of them knows how to properly skate...
[close]

I went home a month or two ago, it's in a super hilly neighborhood in new york. My homie lives up the hill from me, on a really windy road with zero visibility, you'd only know if a car is coming the other way once it's like 10-20 feet away. When I was home, I was picking my friend up at his house, I noticed a bunch of powerslide marks on the street, then saw a bunch of high school kids long boarding fly past me as i was parked. I remember thinking about how stupid of a hill that is to repeatedly bomb down, it's only a matter of time till one of these kids gets run over.

My mom called me a couple weeks ago, tells me I should always be careful on my skateboard because a highschooler got hit by a car and got wedged underneath. The kid's okay save for some broken bones i think, but I fucking called it.

Yeah 2 kids have died from bombing in my town, one was on a hill right by my house I go down all the time. The fuckin kid that died just got a longboard for christmas, never skated a day in his life, went down the really big hilll ran straight into a car and died. Heavy shit. Yet still everybody thinks it's so cool and continues to "skate"

-rail and ledge pro's.... who the fuck cares that you can flip in and flip out of 5-0's at el camino when you look like my dead grandma when you attempt a backside kick turn on a 3 foot quarter....,
-burn outs and poseur thugs (but not baker / deathwish / shake junt exclusively)
-the list could be longer but those are the ones that bug me....

Alright here we go:

Those designer 5-panels, and bucket hats with floral print or some flashy shit that cost more than say $30. It's a hat, meant to keep the sun away.

Rolling up your skinny pants even though they're already to short, why would you expose your ankles more and look like the kid who's mom wouldn't buy him fitting pants?

Also weed socks, they're socks...

Pretty much any sort of "designer skate apparel" that doesn't really serve a purpose worth the money you pay. I always got the impression skating was grimy and dirty, so there's no point dressing too fancy.

Weed socks and five panels oh my lord they're inhabiting every damn skatepark and street spot I go to.  And then when kids come in the shop asking for the weed socks and we tell them we don't carry them they look so disappointed and we're like "Why?  They're fucking socks."  Fp insoles however need to be a trend

Add spots to that as well.  There's a ton of spots here on the east coast we're not welcome to anymore simply because other skaters never cleaned up their shit

Skaters are a bit too careless in that regard. It's embarassing seeing all these potsmoking douchebags throw their juiceboxes and cigarettes everywhere. It gives skaters a bad rap

Could you imagine a baseball player throwing his gatorade cup on the field.. err bad example but you get it..

Maybe mentioned this already but skating in sunglasses. It's  so unnatural/contrived and anyone who does it looks like a kook.

The hate this guy gets is absurd.  Yeah going fast and big really sucks.  See him skate in person and you'll change your mind, guaranteed.

Switch 360 flip lips to fakie on handrails. Yeah, they're obviously really hard, but it's been five years. I think that's enough time for people to start taking them back to switch.

Not if you live somewhere like Hawaii and you value your eyesight.  I don't want no fucking cataracts.  I wear a hat and sunblock too since I'm out in the full sun for a couple of hours almost daily.

All this instagram/iphone gayness. Do you have to spend every waking minute posting some shite or checking out photos of people's burgers?

Like at Tampa Pro, Grant Taylor is dropping in for his run and joey brezinski and 'Steezus Christ' are just sitting staring at their phones

I'm pretty sure nobody does it because it's cool, it's because it's natural.
