I wouldn't say one is better then the other, they both made music that has influanced many people and will for many years. I like both.

Fugazi was one of the first bands that really made me want to listen to alot of different music.  I remember seeing them with Rachel's and Shipping News when I was 14, in this old high school auditorium a few shows in Louisville were put on at.

i like minor threat more than fugazi. i think embrace must be mentioned too. i know tons of people that like embrace more than fugazi, i personally haven't listened to embrace enough to make such a claim though.

Have you heard the other band they did that is like Rites of Spring called One Last Wish, really good as well.
