well judging by the fact that he skated from around 1-2am till sunrise must prove pops is indeed on meth.

I love Pops, and I think I understand (and dig) the idea of this. But honestly, I expect a little bit more than a few curb ollies around a couple drunk patrons and a plywood wedge ramp ollie. I mean, I guess he has to take what's offered in that area where his dart hit, but everyone else seemed to come up with more under the same circumstances.

he wasn't really that limited. he landed on Morgan stop but most of that was Bedford/Lorimer. Not saying its cheating, but just, there's plenty of shit to skate if your radius is that big. And its not as if its some unfamiliar neighborhood where he had to search shit out, he knew exactly where he was

cool clip though

Sometimes you gotta wander around the city and explore it by doing only tricks you have first try during the process. Its the funest thing in the world.

Like the video and the idea behind it

clip was rad - a good approach to the repetitive "off the grid" format.........throwing a dart at a map can lead you to something or nothing, he chose a cool approach just flowing around until the sun came up.
i back it.

only problem... dude is never on the grid.

that shit's funny.  I liked the clip, I do this a lot.
I actually did hit another skater in the face with my shoe once at a demo doing a shoes fly off kickflip but he was cool with it.

I like him, but I thought it was boring too.  I expect more from someone who is able to make a living off of skateboarding.  This would have been better if it were Ricky Oyola.  At least he would have put some heart into it.

You people are fucking insane.  I seriously hate you guys, especially the guys who are going on about the east coast and shit.  I'm going to reddit.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

I liked it, and keep your jockified babylon to yourself and chase the "RADiKal Trixxzzz" dragon down on abc or fox televising street league, cause I hope to see more videos like it in the future.
When I go out skating late at night, I'm not exactly kickflipping my dick off either, nor would I take more than 2 tries at anything before moving on and skating to the next spot. This was a good, unfiltered, (and im gonna cringe a little bit with this last one...) and raw depiction of what skateboarding means to someone like me, and what an average night rolling around the neighborhood feels like.
I'm not bringing a generator along with me.
No I don't wanna watch the shot we just got.
Fuck a car, cellphone, or anything in my pockets 'sept a sweaty dollar for a bottle of water.
Lets go see whats over there.
And then take a different way back.

Sw

yeh i think we're done here..  pops doesnt skate for you fuckos who want NBDs and the latest trend in ledge dancing or flip-trickery in every new clip someone puts out.. i went out the other night and did less than pops did here - charged solo through downtown atl on a saturday night dodging drunk jocks and nightclub bouncers on the sidewalks and just doing ollies and powerslides while constantly moving from spot to spot - in my head i was thinking about the shit i really wanted to do at those spots but knowing it would take me 20 tries. keep moving. very few kids who skate these days can understand that type of skating. they grow up at parks and stair sets - drive from spot to spot. this off the grid shit is the type of skating i like to watch because i can relate to it.

pops will probably always be hooked up because he is respected - but i bet he doesnt really care. if that makes you mad or jealous or envious then too bad.. look at the number of kids out there who can do every trick, tech as shit and gnarly. they cant all get hooked up, its mostly luck and who you know - simple reality. if youve seen anything on him recently or watched his epicly laterd he is all psyched on woodworking and creating furniture now.. and he's obviously still psyched on skating too. pops is just doing his thing

My trips to class are usually more exciting than this. I weave through people, ollie up curbs, and sometimes I do 180s.

Would it really make any difference? Instead people would be saying "One fucking flip trick on flat? That's it?! Couldn' he at least done a grind?"

You people just love to bitch.

i liked it a lot. i can't front though, i was hoping for some flatground cruising flips. not because that's what i like to see from all skaters, but that's what i came up seeing from pops. he'd always throw in a couple flatground tricks in his lines. didn't bum me out though. i liked it.
