pops used to my favorite skateboarder when i was a kid, but fuck 'em now. however i fully support him in the sense that he somehow has convinced people (both sponsors and rabid cock gobbling fans - see previous posts) to continue to support him on a professional status. people eat his shit up, no matter what it is, and will always defend it. good for him, get that money while you can.

i saw this last night, and was gonna post but, i kept deleting my posts, I didnt wanna be a stereotypical hater.
that said, today I will post.
Pops was a professional skateboarder, now he's a skateboarding icon.
he no longer represents progession or style. He looks uncomfortable on a board, and really doesnt look like hes having any fun at all. It looks like he barely skates, his ollies look weak and it clear he is over it.

I understand tha the is attempting to promote simplicity, and fun. I don't need anthony to show me what is fun on a skateboard, I enjoy the simple parts of skateboarding on my own. Its clear he's ove rskateboarding, but not over being sponsored and not hain to work a real j0ob.

I don't expect, demand, or care about flatland flip tricks in a cruising part. However, if you're a pro, and over 75% of your little "part" is ollies and up down curbs, you have to expect some backlash on it. I'll admit that part looks like a typical night of skating for me, but add in a few no complies and 180s as well. But, I'm not pro. I think Pops could have put some more effort in. If he wasn't stoked on the idea, why even do it in the first place?
