Superman Red Son rules. The idea is what if Superman landed on Earth 12 hours later? He'd be a Russian hero. Russian Batman also makes an appearance.

Love that this thread exists.

Asteroids Polyp is such a lovely, sad, beautiful story about adulthood and love and personal success. The way the art depicts the philosophy about a good life and the meaning we find within. 11/10 must read for anyone interested in art or literature.

Good news for any Gary Panter fans - supposedly Jimbo in Paradise is going to be reprinted this spring!

I've been on a massive Tintin binge, re-reading some of the novels but also found this amazing French show called "In the Footsteps of Tintin" that basically follows each story showing actual pictures of the locations and backgrounds into some of the characters and where they came from in Herge's life.

Oh man, that's the one where 3 die and 1 avenges them right?
I'm keen to look into this.

I have that first Saga book but haven’t read it yet.

Go into graphic novels a couple years ago but haven’t kept up at all.

Love “Kill or Be Killed” and Southern Bastards

Does anyone by chance know where to find The Forever War online?

or the german version of Charles Burn's "The Hive" (Die Kolonie), that due to an art show by Burns in Germany got published 4 months prior to the english original?

Also bought Ile Bourbon 1730 the other day. Gives a pretty insightful view of the last years of pirates in the indian ocean.

Uh literally first result in google my man  :P

No idea what is and isn't a graphic novel, but Simon Hanselmann's Megg and Mogg has been my absolute favorite since 2012. No idea how I discovered it, but I got into this and DVDASA deep around then.

It's like uhh, a witch and a cat and an owl and a warewolf live together in suburban squalor and live in the futility of everyday life, facing identity issues, drug abuse, and uhh some other shit.

He's done CRISIS ZONE, an ongoing series since fuck, March? Anyway, start here:

I'm not 100% sure but I think this artist did a lot of work with Desert Island in Brooklyn and you could probably get free issues of their newspaper Smoke Signals that would have some (maybe) one offs by Simon Hanselmann.

I've got quite a few to mention if you get a chance if you are in to superhero mega timelines pick up Executioners Song with X-Men/X-Force really good story.....

I really like Eric Powell The Goon such funny series

Hellbound is tight as fuck

Also if you like weird zine type of omnibus checkout Answer Me?! by Jim Goad yeah it's quite spicy with very offensive topics but if you want something to hate read I do recommend that zine....
