Sycamore Smith - Redux
« on: October 05, 2011, 08:10:28 PM »
Forgive me if this is plugging, but I highly recommend this album.

It's by Sycamore Smith, who is a legend in northern Michigan and criminally unknown everywhere else. He's been playing absurdly catchy and witty folk for over a decade now, and Pentimento Records is putting all of his solo stuff onto a discography CD.

His stuff alternates from silly and perverse: http://www.sycamoresmith.com/music/solo/02%20The%20Censored%20Sailor.mp3

To beautifully grim: http://www.sycamoresmith.com/music/muldoons/The%20Doomed.mp3

To somewhere in between:
