I am getting a 3DS with a few Final Fantasy games from a co worker for cheap, was wondering what other games you guys like on it. I am into RPG's, survival horror, puzzle games and of course the Nintendo classics like Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc..

Besides the obvious: Yoshi's New Island looks good.  I don't know if I want to get a Wii U or 3DS next though.  I wish I could play Super Mario 3D Land without buying a whole new god damn console.

Resident Evil Revelations is great on the 3DS, one of my favorites in the series and doesn't control bad even with the one analog stick. I've been playing Zelda Link Between Worlds and its really good, and some Eshop games like Steamworld Dig.

If you played Yoshi's Island on the Snes I dont know how much you'll be into the new one.
It's really simplified and easy...

Resident Evil Revelations is good but I would much prefer a port of another RE game like RE4

Metal Gear Solid 3 is a must if you haven't played it before
as well as Ocarina of Time

I think you can get some ports of old Donkey Kong games on the nintendo store
cause don't bother with Donkey Kong Country Returns.

And the new Smash Bros is ridiculously addictive for online mode
