I think Jurij deserves some sort of recognition for what he is doing. It’s so amazing to see magazines from the year I was born.

A 10 year old Eric Dressen is on pool coping on the inside cover of Skateboarder Oct 77. So fucking RAD.

Crosspost from the fakie k thread:

Whenever I name my favorite skaters of all time, I always forget Clyde. I learned so many fakie tricks from watching him.

Anyone know who this guy was?

It's Wade Speyer.

I remembered it from this article in Thrasher. Sequence is like six pages down. He also had the first documented grind on hubba-hideout.

jesus, first documented grind down hubba? What a legend

Wow these are all so amazing.

I've been kind of bummed (so unique I know) by pandemic, etc. and so I edited some old favorite video clips/lines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLJG3O5XEw8

These may not be your favorites, but I think they are some good ones. I grew up on Penny, Rowley, Reynolds, Muska, Steve Olsen, Kareem, Kalis, Dyrdek, Jeron Wilson, Keenan Milton, the McBride's. Zoo York and the Eastern Exposure vids. The Cardenas. Way too many to fit into a short clip.

I didn't skate much or pay attention to skating from 2007ish to 2021 so that is why Stevie Williams pop shuv-its into a Yuri Facchini f/s flip at the end.

I'm glad I rediscovered skating and this discussion board. Some stuff is really confusing (like Nike SB and 150+ board co.'s and the fact nobody seems to get skateboarding ecommerce right and it is 2021) but altogether skating is as rad as ever. So psyched on all the kids coming up and pros who are finding a 2nd act.

Keep at it. You owe everything to skateboarding (I know I do).

Such an awesome flick. I think I remember reading that those brick quarter pipes were in Huntington Beach back in the 90's from a photo of Ed Templeton posted on instagram a long time ago - can anyone confirm?

How old is this photo? Because it's sick in 2020.  Who shot it/can I buy this. People throw the term GOAT around but there is only one and its this dude right here.

Not 100% but my bets are on Morford photo some time around 2000

Holy hell, this is so sick.  Has it been clarified if it can be bought/printed somewhere?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but:

- Does anyone have the image of Ben Kadow being grabbed by a sceurity guard? He's wearing a green shirt and blue jean shorts (I think) in the photo.

- Does anyone know old Venture ads? For the one I'm thinking of, I believe it was showing off their first female rider and I think it was some sort of rail trick being shown.
