Not sure how i feel about dickies entering the skate market.  They should at least hook up the dudes who have always rocked them.

I'm just glad they played Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers over the Trash Talk footage.  Heartbreakers are a WAY better band.

His "new" look is his original look. All that women's clothing stuff was just a phase. Like a teenager from the mid-west experimenting with meth.

I've never really been a fan of Trash Talk but, one time they played my friend's basement at 9am the day before he went to jail for a few onces of weed before they had to play an afternoon show that day in Seattle, the day before they had to play in L.A. Those dude's are touring machines, and you've gotta respect that.

And, um, I like dickies. They make good pants.

I like dickies entering the skate market. Almost every skateboarder in history has owned a pair of dickies and its nice to see them give back.

That's word. I've always been of the belief that the Dickies/button-up/Vans combo is a classic skate kit. Skateboard attire grew up, and I was backing it then and I still am to this day. I think The Gonz set it off, but dudes like Jason Lee and BA reinforced the concept.

By "give back" do you mean that their marketing department realized skateboarders like their clothes and they can make money off this venture.  It's not a damn non-profit.  The people in the meeting where this was decided were like, "Skateboarders have been so nice to us, we should hook them up."

Shit, they got-

"Dickies Girl"- "fashion for teens with an edge."
"Dickies Medical Apparel" I guess that's for heath care professionals who like to get gnarly.

I like Dickies and all.  Good clothes at cheap prices, but business is business.  It's like the old Nike argument.  Nike does some cool stuff for skateboarding and I like/use their products, but most big company's "giving back" is just marketing.
