His "new" look is his original look. All that women's clothing stuff was just a phase. Like a teenager from the mid-west experimenting with meth.
When Greco popped up on the scene during his Birdhouse/Tracker days I remember it being more like cargo shorts, baggy jeans, and a quarterback style crew cut, before the Chris Cole'esque rocker makeover.
This talk of a "look" seems kind of weird to me. I've always gone for function, affordability, and what I like, and it become a style, which is fine, but consciously making an effort to adopt a new style because its the latest hip thing or to purposely look like some person or group is phony. Whatever. At least less kids are looking like girls nowadays.
Dickies is totally giving back to skating by sponsoring people and events and putting checks into the pockets of skateboarders, many of whom probably already wore their pants anyway. We're not talking about Jordache or Abercrombie starting "skate" lines, so I'm fine with Dickies entering the picture, even if it means even more people will start dressing like a lot of us have been all along. If they're just seeking an image they'll jump the next train when it comes along. I predict a parachute pant resurgence before too long.
