I thought Night Stalker was solid as well. Only thing I wish they included more of was some info on his background. Reading about him after there is some fucked up stuff involving his uncle that likely had a huge impact on who he became.

Spoiler alert. The night stalker lived in the Cecil too.  As we watched the Cecil show, I wondered if that hotel season of American Horror was playing off the Cecil internet hype at the time.
Dont google it! Youll get ads for life.

I've been on a pretty big mafia movie/documentary kick lately, but Fear City: New York vs The Mafia is pretty good as an in-depth look at what it was like to try to take down the five families in the 70's.
Also, I know it caught a ton of hate, but I thoroughly enjoyed The Irishman. If you have 3.5 hours to kill then give it a shot.

check out the documentary "Our Godfather" on Netflix, and if you dig that they made a movie called "the traitor" based on the same guy.

Mission Viejo is also where in OC he went to steal the car.  Heard about it growing up, as it happened 3 days after I was born there, but my mom always mixed it up and said it was the Hillside Strangler and not Night Stalker.

Id LOVE a follow up doc on what his groupies have been up to since then.  Really want to know what their lives are like

Bad Trip is comedy skits filmed while they interact with an audience, like Borat or Bad Grandpa. Basically an Eric Andre movie.

probably been mentioned but the movie upgrade was a lot of fun. i'm sure you could nitpick the story if you wanted to but the plot was creative and there was some good action scenes... good sci fi.

Ruined fish forever last night with Seaspiracy. Mostly stuff you know already but never looked at because smoked salmon is fantastic with poached eggs. As a film it felt a bit quickly put together but the message is pretty clear.

The New Pope. The popes are great but for me it's all about Silvio Orlando.

this wasn't as bad as i figured it would be, but by far the best part of the whole thing is the ending credits where all of the footage is of them revealing the cameras and shit to the people.

Lil Rel's special on Netflix a while ago was seriously fucking hilarious--this skit right here, oh my god man...

Ace recommendation, just watched this because of your post yesterday night. Definitely a good sci fi flick

Upgrade is SO much fun!  I remember the Ringer referring to it as a Movie Pass come up, so I kind of recoiled at that at first.  When it came to Netflix I watched it with my girl and it was so much fun!

If you like Peep Show, Back is def worth using the AMC+ free trial.  Mitchell & Webb still got it

Derry Girls is fucking hilarious. It's like an Irish female version of The Inbetweeners

This new show is pretty cool on Netflix, predator on the Thailand/Goa hippie trail in the late 1970s:

And hey, Training Day is on Netflix one of the best-written movies of all time!

They just added Waterworld back on. Yes, it's a terrible movie. Yes, I absolutely love it.

No disrespect to my man in the oil tank

Yer like a turd that won't flush

On HBO is Exterminate All The Brutes
https://youtu.be/g37YqLD0BSg
4 part documentary that examines the the history of white supremacy & the effect on the world.

Fun fact: Henry Ford donated the proceeds from ford vehicles sold in nazi Germany straight to the nazi party & gave Hitler himself $300,000 for a birthday gift. In fact, the nazi war machine wouldn't have been what it was without the help of General Motors & Mercedes.

I feel like they should show this documentary in schools & was wondering if anybody else here saw it?

I've watched the first one so far. Really good.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of retarded kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Thought this one sucked ass, good example of "bad shows on Netflix"

Biggest obvious was the hiring of two nazi scientist Werner von Braun (Saturn 5 rocket creator) and Schrodinger (famous quantum physicist)
