Just saw it in theatres, but all I gotta say is The Irishman was great, so definitely check that out when it gets on in 2 weeks. Especially if you are a Goodfellas and Casino fan.

Really looking forward to it. Did they have an intermission in the theater or anything? Can't remember the last time I saw a 3 and a half hour movie.

No intermission and it was a fully packed theatre, sort of regret getting a large Dr. Pepper to start and sitting right in the middle but wasn't going to leave. Pesci and DeNiro are amazing. Pesci and Stephen Graham's performances really stood out.

^^^

Seriously ...
I can't wait to watch again. Just found out that TIFF (the theatre I saw The Irishman at) is doing replaying all of Scorsese's flicks. Already picked up Goodfellas tickets and will at least try to go to Taxi Driver.

Finishing up Schitts Creek. Consistently funny, but it's making me subconsciously snarky to everyone I meet.

David rubbing off on you?

Im on season 5 now, dont think the last season is on netflix yet which is kind of a bummer cause im smashing through it.

Drive is back streaming. Always fun to see someone's head boot stomped in an elevator.

It's part of why it's so bad ass. He goes through a hell of a metamorphosis.

I was in this same boat not too long ago, trust me by the end he will no longer be seen as Malcolms dad, the future for you will always hold Walter White

It's pretty good so far, I'm almost at the end of season 2. I can see why it was talked about for so many years. I'm always late to start watching shows, like I just watched Dexter for the first time this year too lol.

The best part is it keeps getting better. Season 3 and 4 were my favorites.

The movies that made us, is a fun watch if you like sort of behind the scenes stuff, and the making of movies.

That was super goofy, but also really fun. Bummed they didn't reference Die Hard as being a Christmas movie.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of retarded kids and a van full of paraplegics.

The Report on Amazon was interesting. I have a soft spot for Adam Driver after I was newly single and perpetually high while watching Girls.

The Irishman was great, ending is all time as far as I'm concerned

I watched it at the weekend as I'd heard someone else say it was good.

What a fucking yawn fest! I held on hoping it would get good, but nope. There was about 3 minutes spread about in the film total that made it marginally better than watching paint dry, but only marginally!

In brighter news Mid-90s has just landed on Netflix over here so gonna give that a shot soon.

And I am also jealous of Twanked!

Nope.

Is it different for you guys because you know about Jimmy Hoffa?
Would it be like me watching a 3 hour film about Jimmy Reid? I'd enjoy that!

Fuck, you've got me thinking now.
A four hour epic about Jimmy Reid starring Sean Connery, Ewen MacGregor, Dougray Scott, James McAvoy, Craig Ferguson etc.

I really liked the Irishman after the first 2 hours but the last hour just cemented this film as another classic Scorsese, De Niro, Pesci classic. Goodfellas and Raging Bull are my favorites but The Irishman is up there with Casino. I found myself hoping they would change history like Tarintino and have Frank save Hoffa and fucking kill everyone else but of course it was perfect the way it was. Iím stoked to watch it again. A Marriage Story comes out tomorrow and itís getting really good reviews. Noah Baumbach movie with Adam Driver and Scarlet Johansson.

I'm a little behind on this one but I just watched Train to Busan on Netflix the other night. Really fun and somewhat unique take on the zombie genre. My buddy turned it on after we returned from skating around 11pm, I was going to try to walk over to my room and sleep but after he turned it on I ended up watching the whole movie standing up because I didn't want to move and potentially miss something. It's a fun one without much pop-out scare shit but you'll still be able to yell out condescending shit to the characters. It's also Korean so it has humorous elements like The Host and stuff like that
