The Report on Amazon was interesting. I have a soft spot for Adam Driver after I was newly single and perpetually high while watching Girls.

The movies that made us, is a fun watch if you like sort of behind the scenes stuff, and the making of movies.

Saw the Home Alone and Ghostbusters one last night, I enjoyed it very much.

Best movie I've seen in like 15 years. I've watched it 3 times already.

I watched it at the weekend as I'd heard someone else say it was good.

What a fucking yawn fest! I held on hoping it would get good, but nope. There was about 3 minutes spread about in the film total that made it marginally better than watching paint dry, but only marginally!

In brighter news Mid-90s has just landed on Netflix over here so gonna give that a shot soon.

And I am also jealous of Twanked!

Is it different for you guys because you know about Jimmy Hoffa?
Would it be like me watching a 3 hour film about Jimmy Reid? I'd enjoy that!

Fuck, you've got me thinking now.
A four hour epic about Jimmy Reid starring Sean Connery, Ewen MacGregor, Dougray Scott, James McAvoy, Craig Ferguson etc.

I really liked the Irishman after the first 2 hours but the last hour just cemented this film as another classic Scorsese, De Niro, Pesci classic. Goodfellas and Raging Bull are my favorites but The Irishman is up there with Casino. I found myself hoping they would change history like Tarintino and have Frank save Hoffa and fucking kill everyone else but of course it was perfect the way it was. I’m stoked to watch it again. A Marriage Story comes out tomorrow and it’s getting really good reviews. Noah Baumbach movie with Adam Driver and Scarlet Johansson.

I'm a little behind on this one but I just watched Train to Busan on Netflix the other night. Really fun and somewhat unique take on the zombie genre. My buddy turned it on after we returned from skating around 11pm, I was going to try to walk over to my room and sleep but after he turned it on I ended up watching the whole movie standing up because I didn't want to move and potentially miss something. It's a fun one without much pop-out scare shit but you'll still be able to yell out condescending shit to the characters. It's also Korean so it has humorous elements like The Host and stuff like that

I like the Korean movies that have been popping up on streaming services. The Wailing, Bluebeard, Oldboy (The Handmaiden on Amazon Prime by the same director), Vanishing Time.. the list goes on. There's a ton of great movies, it's a reprieve from seeing the same actors over and over again in mainstream American cinema.

Earlier this year I called my friend a cocksucker ina group chat and a few others got really bummed at me . I guess coming from jersey it’s not a big deal but here in Cali it’s a little bit harsh . I’ve taught my coworkers the word and they seem to enjoy it .

Marriage Story was my favorite movie of the year. And I’m sick of Adam Driver and Scar Jo just like everyone else .

Why is everyone sick of them ? I can’t recall the last time I saw Johansson in a movie .

You're doing yourself quite the disservice by not finishing it.

Excellent film.

If you don’t like the film so far don’t bother finishing it . It’s not for everyone . But for those that did appreciate this film this episode of this podcast was amazing . I totally caught all the the little things john mentioned .

Don't Fuck With Cats was really interesting but completely fucked documentary.  Very tough to watch some of the  footage & not easily forgotten.  Not for the squeamish, I suggest watching the trailer beforehand & it'll clue you in as to what it's all about.

The difficult moments are the scenes of actual footage the sociopath had posted online...it does cut away right before the actual acts of violence are committed but it's obvious where its going & while you won't be watching actual snuff it's certainly stomach churning.  The manhunt aspect of the documentary is very well done though, so it's a weird show to recommend without a disclaimer.
