whenever i see skate stopping to this extreme, it just seems like the place who does it is taking their ball and going home. they're perfectly willing to make the stairs/ledges/whatever inaccessible to everyone who could possibly use them for any purpose, just to keep skateboarders away. they scorch the earth to get rid of a few people.

but yeah those poles will be gone by the time i finish typing this.
