He skates like a flat-earther and I’m here for it

HAHAHA

the drop off is gnarly in itself but the thought of ollieing onto that thing with my BACK to a 20 stair drop is literally making my palms sweat

Went to high school with Jub's alleged cousin. The kid on multiple occasions said Jub was coming to skate this weekend but never showed. Which provided the repeated joke of "Jubs in town."

Going to rewatch those two Black Label parts now

Jub's signature move, aka riding off something huge without ollieing ('the Jub Drop'), remains one of the greatest signature moves ever.

yeah everyone's saying he only had one part - i can recall three. he had the one in Label Kills skating to Ministry and then Black Out and I remember him having a part in a Progression VM where talks about stealing his highschool's VCR to edit skate videos or something like that at the start. it's the one with Jesse Paez skating to Cypress Hill as the last part.

i always thought jub was cool.

I’m really bad at focusing these days. I meant to quote the Pat Rakestraw parts and say he also had a part in black out. But Jub definitely had a black out and label kills part and some others. There’s plenty of dudes with far less footage out there.

I like Jub too. He wasn’t just drops I feel like I remember a few very solid back tails and other surprises sprinkled in his parts.

I really like pat rakestraw. He made nikes look really cool. I like dunk footage rakestraw. Cool style.

If anyone wants to cosplay the street rake, I have this shirt in excellent condition.

Also, did Jub ever have a part, or even footage from his time on Consolidated?

I have probably watched this part more than any other single part of any era. Street Rake Rules. This part is particularly enjoyable but I like all his footage. “Pat just broke his kneecap”.

And that Jub ender photo rules too. He does a cool quick kickflip down a block in a line on his Black Out part I always loved.
