Broken Bones

recently i got wasted and fell over breaking two bones in my ankle. im in plaster for 8-10 weeks and cant skate for even longer. i've never broken a bone before so do you have any tips on what i can do or what to expect when i start skating again? thanks.

first off you gotta check if you have some torn/stretch ligament.

Don't skimp on the aftercare physical therapy. Don't over-do it, do exactly what they say at first then continue after you stop seeing the doctor.

Pushing around on my board was the best therapy for my knee (push leg) and the only thing that got full range of motion back, even after I was told that it wouldn't get better w/o surgery. That's quite a bit different than a broken ankle but I've heard from other people that very light skating and slowly easing back into it was really helpful.

Good luck man, if you don't have a solid skate vid collection it's a good time to start building one.
