Sidenote- anyone noticed how fucking slow the checkout is at discount stores? Why is it so laborious?

Doesn’t seem to be a way to verify the construction (7 ply maple v some of that now infamous birch “hybrid” they’re known for running in their beginner/price-point decks.)
Can’t help but think it would suck to commit to a trio of decks only to find out they’re toy store junk.
Any way to tell by looking at them? Differentiated top graphics, or… ?

The stumps are (at least were) regs 7ply, the hybrid/pp/birch shit I never saw as stumps (they specify birch or hybrid).
