Long story short. If you aren't using a series of safeguards in addition to Tor, a few misplaced actions could result in your computer being networked with/implicated in some serious shit, and you'll have no idea. You end up being a front/patsy in some fucked up Serbian child porn ring, all because you didn't have the slightest idea of how this place works, or the types of people involved. It's not enough to follow some 12 point guide you got from 4chan. If you have to ask about it, or didn't know what it was before checking a link on slap, you really have no business fucking with it. My advice is to read news stories from reputable news outlets (there is a decent history of the deep web / dark net/freenet on the Guardian's website.) and get a taste of it from others who have been themselves. it's really not the place that some people make it out to be. Most of it is stupid, or boring as hell. It's also so slow loading that you'll think you're on dial up in 1996. That being said, the types of CP on there are brutal and depressing. It's not some Jock Sturges art nude shit. It's like little kids actually being raped, or worse. If you still think it'll be cool to explore, don't say you haven't been warned.

Is there footy of these death matches?  Seeing a man fight a tiger would be pretty wild.

Also, is it really illegal to just view certain things?  I figured you might get put in a watch list, but unless you actually have the stuff saved, what can you be charged with?

Photo?

I used to play a game with one of my buddies on the ship where we would on a nightly basis try to trump each other's video collections with one select vid to be viewed.  No cp ever, but way too many movies involving dogs and horses.  I just felt bad for the animals after a while.

I read that article above about "The grab", there's more to it.. and it's pretty fucked up. Also that last post about the guy finding that video on another persons computer is pretty crazy. But I guess it's nothing really new in today's world.

What interests me is the article about those experiments. I know that shit had to be going on, But I wonder what organization is funding that. Probably Black-Ops CIA, It's pretty fool proof to take a homeless person off the street to run all those tests since no average person on the street would care, let along see them from time to time. The sterilization/fertilization is another story though.

apoctalyptic times? really?  people have been doing fucked up things to each other since the dawn of existence.  the only difference now is that a small fraction of people can see these fucked up things on the internet, as opposed to the majority of people seeing them in person on a daily basis.

i'm guessing that a lot of those sites are bullshit, but i'm sure there are more than enough that are real.  the child snuff film a few posts back is pretty fucked, as is the child abduction/murder instructions.

Plus, the deep web and all of this shit has existed for years now so we must have been in apocalyptic times for a while now.

I've been on a handful of times, the craziest thing I've seen is there was a link on a website that just read "Links" (to reach any site on the deep web you have to click on a link / copy and paste a url you can't search anything as far as I know) it lead to hundreds of different names some being owners of large companies, people in the government, and others that I have never heard of. Once you click on a name pages of documents open and it's basically incriminating or secret information about that person, with a few paragraph blurb that sums up the documents written by the author of the site. For example one of the people posted was a member of the FBI (I don't remember the name) but in the documents it should that he had like over ten hate crimes filed against him, and what was super weird was all the people he did the acts against were asian.

Also there's basically every fetish porn imaginable, mutilation, really weird animal shit, furry stuff, kid napping forums, the weirdest shit you can think of, a lot of the gore and more fucked up pictures you've seen were initially found on the deep web and then posted on 4chan or whatever and then it spreads from there. The drug sites exist and they are widely used, "The Silk Road" is the most popular, with these kind of sites you usually have to be invited in or have special clearance and once you are in it can take years of being a member (seriously years) before you gain the trust of the other users and they allow you to start selling/ buying products. These kind of selling and purchasing sites exist for anything imaginable. A pretty funny not as serious one is this site where you pick some bullshit thing you want, like an iphone or something and someone steals it and sells it to you for a fraction of the price, when I was on that site they were trying to sell thousand dollar remote control helicopters that they stole for like 50 bucks.

There's all sorts of other shit on there that I haven't really seen proof of or anything but hear it talked about, like alien related shit, mass company mergers, nuclear weapon sales, ect ect.
