I used to be amazed with this kid when he was on flip filming for Sorry, when he kickflip frontboard slide that kinked rail in the Vans ad in particular. Anyway there are some videos of him on youtube, this is the best I think, some tricks are really good, some not so much youtube.com/watch?v=iiLN_ouo47g

the guy is out of his mind, he lurks around toronto these days. He's totally lost it since to much pressure for sorry. He spazzes out over nothing and talks to himself, but back in the day he ripped no doubt.

It wasnt filming that was soley responsible.
Andrew was and is one of the raddest kids in skateboarding.
One of the first super gnalry kid ams.

Flip fucked Andrew Gordon...they're responsible.

He was a kid, Geoff Rowley saw him do a heelflip lipslide and immediately put him on Flip direct.  He went from being a regular skateboard kid to being on Flip direct within a day.  Then, Geoff Rowley told all the magazines that this kid was the next superstar.  How could that pressure not fuck with you?  There's a reason why companies slowly bring up riders, start them with flow, get to know them etc.  Flip has a shitty track record and that company will be finished after their current generation of pros are washed up.

hahahah yeah right, cuz its not like they have amazing ams like shane cross, eric fletcher, and david gonzales to go pro in a couple years and its not like they are goin to keep adding riders

Are all these youtube videos that come up when I search Andrew Gordon the same kid? If so I feel really bad for him because I barely ever saw any footage of him when he was on Flip, and from that story it seems like Geoff Rowley thought he was a lot better than he actually was. Not saying those vids on youtube are weak, they just aren't anything all that great.

geoff rowley didn't think he was better then he was, he was that good at the time but he didnt have anytime to develop before pressure built up..  yah his tricks when he was a youngster were so rad, like really good for his age, and just good period, but now compared to the rest of the people coming up hes just some a little better then average local... old gordon ... new gordon
