Indy's and tuck knees
« on: April 07, 2012, 12:22:11 PM »
I can't seem to hold the indy really long. And how do you do a tuck knee? The concept escapes me. Any tips?

I'm going to assume that you can do a f/s air stinkbug style. The trick for doing it tuck knee style is to swing your arm in, instead of just reaching straight down and grabbing the board. Coming in from the side will make your knee go in and make you look mad steezy bro.
Because you can't kill and idea, and we will not be ruled!

the visuals are also mad visual yo

you push your knees forward instead of pulling your feet back, which people have a tendency to want to do. The best part about learning tuck knees is they make stalefishes easy.
And yes, an indy is by definition backside, making it so grabbing that way makes you feel inverted, which makes holding the grab for a while terrifying.
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”

if you know a local skate park with a foam pit, they are great for practising grabs
