This documentary is pretty corny. Plus the subject matter is not anything special. I mean if you have skated for a long period of time, you have come across so many people like Screech. Ripping skater who aimlessly skates and parties through life. It's overly dramatic and tries to be philosophical. It's shot really well, I guess.
Funny story though, I saw this at the screening in Long Beach, and Screech and his whole posse was there, raging pretty hard. Screech basically did a live commentary during the whole documentary, and we then we got to watch the sequel unfold right in front of us. Over half of the audience walked out and got their money back. Kind of awesome, kind of depressing. Afterwards, Screech knocked over a planter and broke a window to a nearby storefront. He started screeching "You don't know what I'm going through!" It was hard to watch. Very good skater though.
