I mean, it's cool if you look up to someone but to the extent where one dresses and does the exact same tricks or hell, act the same way as one they idol--c'mon! I quit.

no thanks. but for real. FUCK YOU! from me and everyone else here. you're in fact are more horrible than victor333. i'd simply ignore you but you don't contribute SHIT to this forum. nothing but nonsense-point less questions that 14 year old kids at a skatepark talk amongst them selves.

 for some reason i picture you looking something like this;

Sonic Youth should never be in the same sentence as "swag"

I didn't mean in the (now) popular sense of the word.  I mean, I'm pretty sure it used to just mean merchandise.

edit:  I guess I was slightly wrong.  It's supposed to be for free/promo merch. but whateverrr

all skateboarders dress like other skateboarders, some are just more subtle about it. "i swear i just wear whatever's comfortable...." i'm sure a button up and super tight cuffed jeans are "the most" comfortable thing you could find.

I have been trying to take my style in a new direction lately.  I call it "50 Censuous"...

I wasn't copying this dude and I am pretty sure that I started the trend.  I just find it really comforting to look down while setting up for a trick and to see my own junk flopping up at me as if to say "Go get 'em tiger!".

its important to look up to people but you won't learn anything about yourself just emulating them
